Direkt an der Atlantikküste hoch oben auf den Klippen von Benagil liegt der Ferienanlage Terraços de Benagil, wo das aparte Reiheneckhaus Casa Sol auf seine Gäste wartet. Von der Dachterrasse aus bietet sich ein phantastischer Blick auf das Meer und die gepflegte Anlage mit einem Gemeinschaftspool.
Im Parterre befinden sich das Wohnzimmer mit Klimaanlage, Esstisch für vier Personen, bequemer Sofagarnitur und TV, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Gasherd sowie ein Gäste-WC.
Über eine Treppe gelangen Sie hinauf zu den zwei Schlafzimmern mit zwei Einzelbetten bzw. einem Doppelbett und Klimaanlagen. Eines der Schlafzimmer besitzt einen kleinen Balkon. Zwei geflieste Badezimmer mit Wanne bzw. Dusche komplettieren die erste Etage.
Der Aufstieg führt weiter hinauf zur privaten Dachterrasse, die mit Sitzmobiliar und Liegen ausgestattet ist.
Zur Eingangsfront des Hauses gehören eine überdachte Terrasse und eine umzäunte Grünfläche mit Gehweg.
In unmittelbarer Nähe existieren die beiden traumhaften Strände Carvalho und Benagil (ca. drei Fußminuten) und einige Restaurants.
Vor hier aus können Sie zu herrlichen Küsten- und Strandwanderungen aufbrechen. Der beliebte, nahe gelegene Urlaubsort Carvoeiro mit Restaurants, Bars, Supermärkten, Post, medizinischen Einrichtungen und weiteren tollen Stränden ist mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie, Apolónia und Intermarché gibt es am Ortseingang von Carvoeiro.
Bis zum Flughafen Faro sind es etwa 60 Kilometer.
Beautiful spot with great views and close to walking trails (Seven Hanging Valleys Trail). We had a few power outages and Antonio was available to answer questions and provide support when needed. Great local recommendations and we would love to come back sometime in the future. Would definitely recommend.
Very clean and quiet stay with beautiful views. Hiking trails right outside. Grocery stores, coffee shops etc within ten minute drive by car. Highly recommend this place! Bring your own soap shampoo etc as none is provided. And note that beds are very hard but that is customary here, just not something US travelers are used to
Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans la maison d’Antonio, entre deux magnifiques plages. Le logement est bien équipé et situé juste à 2 pas de la piscine. Bien qu’il s’agit d’un complexe de petites maisons, l’endroit est tres calme. La plage de Benagil est très accessible à pied par des escaliers mais trop d’effervescence à notre goût avec les excursions en kayak et bateau. Nous avons préféré l’autre plage tout aussi accessible de Carvalha. Il n’y a vraiment aucun petit magasin aux alentours pour dépanner sur des aliments de base (pain, café, lait, beurre etc). Il faudra prendre la voiture 10 min pour arriver à un supermarché. Il y a 2-3 restos à Benagil, très bon. Celui le plus proche de la plage est très bon mais n’est pas ouvert le soir. Enfin, nous avons fort apprécié la disponibilité et le dévouement d’Antonio pour nous fournir tous les infos utiles et aussi une chaise bébé et une nouvelle poêle pour cuisiner pour remplacer une poêle complément griffée. Un grand merci!
Location meravigliosa, a 5/10 minuti a piedi dalle spiagge più vicine. La casa si trova in un recidence molto carino e tranquillo dove regna la pace. Casa con ambienti spaziosi e cucina ben attrezzata. Casa su due piani più terrazzo con al piano superiore due camere e due bagni. Molto comodo anche il bagno di servizio al piano terra. Giardinetto esterno con sdraio e tavolo e sedie per mangiare comodamente all’aperto. Lo consiglio

Tolle Lage in Strandnähe und als idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Der Pool war sehr sauber und wir hatten ihn (Anfang Juni) meist für uns alleine. Antonio ist ein toller Gastgeber und hat uns gute Tipps gegeben. Wir können die Unterkunft 100% empfehlen und könnten uns gut vorstellen, einmal wiederzukommen.
Antonio was a great host. He has got a beautiful place with a great view of the ocean. The house was cozy and comfortable. The beach was just 2 mins away and it was highly convenient. The house had good amenities that came handy when me and my friends wanted to go to the beaches. Overall, we had a great time at António’s place. We would definitely visit again!

I would highly recommend this beautiful Airbnb. The neighborhood is quiet. The views are spectacular. The community is quaint and very welcoming. Hiking trail on the cliffs are right outside your door. You can for hours and take in the beautiful views.

Todo genial. Es una casa fantástica, con todo el equipamiento que puedas necesitar. Las terrazas son una maravilla, 2 de ellas con vistas al Atlántico. Y la terraza frontal es ideal para estar y disfrutar con tus hijos, desayunar, comer... La ubicación es perfecta para explorar el Algarve, en medio de la zona. O bien para disfrutar las playas cercanas, a las que se llega andando en 5 minutos, Benagil y Carvalho. También a 5 minutos andando tienes muy buenos restaurantes. Y Antonio, el anfitrión, es encantador, nos ha facilitado mucho la estancia, es muy amable y nos ha dado en todo momento información muy útil de sitios para visitar, buenas playas, excursiones y restaurantes por distintas zonas, se conoce perfectamente la región. En conclusión, una estancia perfecta, para repetir!!
This place is incredible. It is truly only a short walk to 2 different beaches and is situated in the most beautiful section of coastline in southern Portugal. We drove to a few nearby cities to site see and are convinced we made the best choice staying here. We would absolutely stay here again.
Site enchanteur, calme, avec une vue magnifique. À quelques minutes à pieds de belles plages et quelques restaurants. Une voiture est cependant nécessaire pour l’épicerie et les déplacements aux alentours. La maison était très propre et la piscine est très chouette. L’équipement de cuisine est cependant un peu décevant, il était donc plus difficile de faire des repas. L’hôte est très sympathique et de bons conseils! Je recommande!!
Great location. Fantastic view. All the rooms were clean and as mentioned. Only problem was the water supply was stopped for few hours for the last few days, due to some construction work near by. But apart from that great stay. The host Antonio was very helpful and always available in case of issues. He suggested some really good restaurants in the area with awesome food. Highly recommended.

Amazing place to stay with great views. Spacious 2bed 3bath in townhouse configuration of 3 story space. The nature paths are quite amazing but the beach nearby (not Benagil) carvalho was exceptional. Beautiful area and easy to get around. The place does lack a supermarket or many restaurants so you will need to stock up or prepare a ride to the next towns around. The peace and tranquillity are worth it
We had a great time at casa sol! The location is great for walking to the local beaches and further afield on the seven hanging valleys trail. Stunning landscape! Really quiet location yet a short walk from some lovely seafood restaurants. The villa is very well equipped and comfortable, with plenty of outside space. and the one problem we had (internet down) was quickly fixed by Antonio. He also gave us some great recommendations for local places to eat, supermarkets etc, which helped us feel at home. Thanks Antonio!
That's really a great place for vacation in Algarve. The apartment is super well situated (water front, close to the beach, caves,..), very well equipped, comfortable, rooftop with amazing view. Antonio is super effective host. Everything is well arranged by email / text message. RECOMMENDED !

La atención recibida por Antonio ha sido excelente. tuvimos un pequeño problema y apenas tardo media hora en llegar a solucionarlo. la casa está en una ubicación ideal en una urbanización muy tranquila y acogedora especial para familias que vayan buscando relax y buenas playas. La casa está perfectamente acondicionada con todos los electrodomésticos ¡hasta con Nespresso!!

La casa está ubicada en un excelente lugar para conocer la parte más bella del Algarve. Es tal y como se ve en el anuncio. Una gran opción de relax y turismo activo por igual.
We were very pleased with the townhouse and our experience in Benagil. The accommodations were perfect for us and the rental had everything that we needed. We easily walked to wonderful restaurants for all of our meals and went on the most gorgeous hikes right out the front door. I worked out on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean at sunrise which was absolutely stunning. Everything was perfect! We accidentally locked ourselves out of the townhouse and Antonio came to our rescue. His response time was always fast, directions to the place were easy to follow and everything was in great condition. Our dog absolutely loved the fenced in yard. The area is very quiet and we never heard the neighbors or any street noise due to the perfect location. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great first visit to Portugal!
Antonio’s place was very nice, quiet, relaxing and perfect for the end of our 10 anniversary trip. He was kind to leave us a bottle of Rosé in the fridge to celebrate which was a nice touch!!!! The only thing I think was the beds were a little hard for our style but not a super big deal when you are enjoying everything else. Easy access to the prettiest beaches in the Algarve and so much to see. Great location. Will be back hopefully sooner than later!!!! Thanks so much for everything!!!!
Antonio is a great host and very accommodating. Great place, amazing location. The trail on the cliffs behind the house was one of the best hikes (amazing sunset scenery) Don’t listen to other tourists advise, the view on the cliffs doesn’t get better than this, especially if you walk north on the trail. The pool is great (although, some one stole my $21 sunscreen lotion ☹️) and great roof top, just watch your head going up there..lol Def coming back! Thanks Antonio for everything!
My husband and I spent 4 nights at Casa Sol and had a fabulous and relaxing time! The sunrises and sunsets are amazing! You can catch them from the rooftop patio, which is where we spent a lot of our time. Antonio was a great host as well. We met him a day or two after we checked in; per Portugal law, he had to make a copy of one of our passports since we were staying more than 72 hours. He was fluent in English and was able to provide some great recommendations. The house is as described and clean; the reviews I read prior to going are accurate. We cooked and washed laundry while there. There are utensils for cooking, but none of the "basics" such as salt/pepper/etc. We were provided bathroom basics, such as toilet paper, towels and soap. We asked Antonio about towels to bring to the pool and beach and he brought them the next day. We walked to the handful of restaurants that are nearby; I highly recommend O Pescador! We chose this location so we could hike/walk the 7 Hanging Valleys Trail and it did not disappoint! The townhome is literally on the trail, excellent location! You will need to rent a car though, to get there and to get to any other towns/the grocery store. Also, the townhome is in a very quiet area, so don't expect there to be lots of clubs/nightlife close by (which was fine with us). It's in a complex of around 20 townhomes (don't quote me on the number!) and they were all very quiet or seemed to be empty. It was a very clean area and felt extremely safe. The townhome is close to one of the beaches that launches the boats for the cave tours of the most well known caves. Make sure you take a boat tour of the caves as early as you can on the trip! We waited until the fourth day we were there and the water was too rough for the boats to go out. We got lucky and the boats were running on the day we checked out of the townhome so we got to go, but we wished we had done the boat tour first thing when we got there, so eliminate the chance of not being able to go on the tour. One thing to note: the view of the sunset from the rooftop patio is gorgeous but it is a slightly obstructed view. There is another townhome attached and to the west of this one. Meaning, if you look south, facing the ocean, you can see the gorgeous colors of the sunset over the water and if you look west, you look through/over another townhome's rooftop patio to see the sunset. The view, colors, and pictures we took are all still amazing, but it is something you should be aware of. The sunset, equally beautiful, was an unobstructed view.
This place has amazing views, is in between two amazing beaches and has the Seven Valley hiking trail at your door step! Beautiful swimming pool in a gated area and lovely restaurants within walking distance.
We booked this condo last minute, and we are so happy we did! The view of the ocean from the rooftop terrace was spectacular, and where we spent most of our time when at the condo. The inside of the condo was also very nice; one of the bedrooms had a nice balcony, while the other had a large window to let the sea breeze in. Beds were comfortable, and bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The place was lovely and the view was spectacular. The location was great, too: it sat on top of the hill, and you could take a walking path down to Benagil beach in ~5-10 mins. We also walked to Marinha Beach from the condo in ~45 mins. We did find the front door auto-locks so make sure you have the key when closing the door! Antonio was very responsive, and helped us resolve the issue of leaving the key inside right away. Overall, we loved it and would stay here again next time we come back.
Great location, clean. No personal contact with the host, only by email. We found the apartment to be minimally stocked - no coffee, oil, spices etc. Also only 2 towels for three days on a holiday to the beach seems a bit light.
While we did not meet Antonio in person, he was always responsive to our questions. Friendly and polite. Check in was by lock pad. Space inside is quite comfortable, with 2 beds and 2.5 baths and a sunny rooftop terrace with spectacular ocean views and moonlit at night. This home has real potential to be a 5 star vacation spot if certain upgrades can be made to kitchen, hot water going on and off and basic supplies like salt, pepper, sugar. The nearest grocery store is about 12 minutes drive so stocking up is easy. But most people come to the Algarve for the beaches and this home has an amazing location. Walk about 15 minutes to the west and you hit Carvalho with spectacular caves and tunnels and quieter vibe. Walk down the hill 10 minutes to the east and you’re in Benagil, with kayak trips to the legendary cave. This home is actually on the path of the Seven Hanging Valleys hiking trail. Other great beaches are all within 20 mins drive. Local restaurants are quite good. The shared pool is a great bonus for a relaxing swim. All in all, highly recommended for an Algarve vacation.

Great location for walking to dinner and t one beach but in a very high traffic tourist area. Loved the outdoor space and pool. Lots of space and great for families. Bad thing was it Smelled like smoke and made all of our clothes smell
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sol. It’s an extremely comfortable house in an amazing location. The roof terrace has such fantastic sea views, it’s lovely. The house has a couple of areas to eat outside too so there’s lots of options. We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 teenagers and there was lots of space for us. António was a very friendly and approachable host, he answered our messages very quickly and had lots of information about the local area. The house is very close to the pool and we could always get a sunbed but you had the option of relaxing at the house too. Our favourite local restaurant was Casa Lamy, the food was very good and the waiters were very charming. just a 5 minute walk from the house. We did a boat tour at Benagil beach and hired kayaks to see the caves in more detail, you have to see these caves-amazing. There are a few big supermarkets, 10 minute drive away.

Location cannot be beat! Communication with our host Antonio was perfect, and quick responses. The place itself is big with a wonderful patio and rooftop with unbelievable views. This unit is right next to the pool and the complex is so close to many restaurants, make reservations. The pictures you see are as good or better in real life, we loved this place.

Super!!! If you want a truly magical beach vacation in the Algarve, this is the place! Antonio is a great host and keeps a neat and comfortable place. The villa has a roof deck with amazing, sweeping views of the sea. From the villa, you can walk along the cliffs to Praia Carvalho, Benagil, and (with a bit more of a hike) Marinha. There are several markets in Lagoa (10 min drive) for food shopping and several solid places to eat right in Benagil. Book this place - you will love it!!!!

What an amazing location! I seriously don’t think you can find a more incredible place to stay in Algarve than right above the Benagil caves. We absolutely loved it. A very nice pool was greatly enjoyed by the kids. Highly recommended!
This place has perfect amenities in a perfect environment. Location is great as you are within easy walking distance to two great beaches. The rooftop was amazing too. Highly recommend it. Antonio is very helpful with local tips and is very responsive. We were sad to leave and hope to return to this place again soon.
Great villa! Fantastic view, easy check-in (lock box at the door!), extremely clean and well cared for and a great location for exploring both east and west sides of the coastline. Antonio met us after we checked in to give us directions, suggestions for restaurants and activities, etc. He was very helpful and accessible via text throughout the trip to answer any questions. Gorgeous natural public beach just minutes away from the villa, amazing Italian Restaurant within walking distance "La Bella Vita" (Highly recommend) and a few other food choices as well. Do have to venture out to get to a grocery store (approx. 15-20 minutes away). Peaceful and quiet location.

The location is wonderful and the house has everything you need. Checking in was a breeze. The two beaches in walking distance are spectacular. Viewing the ocean and the stars is lovely from the roof terrace. Highly recommend a stay here.

Antonio was very responsive to our needs. The house was in an amazing area. It’s local beaches are some of the best we saw in Algarve. We had two adult couples and there was plenty of room. We loved the roof terrace. The views were spectacular. There’s around 5 restaurants within a short walk. The is no grocery store or mini market. Nice place for couples or families.
我们自驾前往,在lagos吃完晚饭十点多才到,虽然Antonio没有迎接我们,但是入住非常顺利,还给宝宝准备好了婴儿床和餐椅｡东西很齐全,厨房除了没有做饭的调料其他都很ok｡洗衣机不会用,和Antonio沟通后搞定啦,在“F模式”就可以洗啦｡我们入住的时候整个小区非常安静,游泳池一个人都没有,天气很舒适,27度左右,阳光灿烂｡小别墅离benagil海滩很近,走路5分钟就到啦,沙滩太棒了,我们租了滑板过去洞穴很刺激!非常推荐,只是旺季估计会爆满吧!一楼有一个卫生间,二楼有两个卫生间,煤气热水器水很好,只是不要两个人一起洗澡｡离apolonia超市开车很近,我们买了东西回来做晚餐｡

Das Haus hat wirklich eine super Lage. Zwei tolle Strände sind direkt in der Nähe und man kann tolle Spaziergänge machen. Ich hatte noch keinen Gastgeber der so schnell auf alle Fragen geantwortet hat und für einen da war, wirklich toll, danke dafür Antonio. Die Küche hat eine sehr gute Ausstattung, so dass man nichts beim kochen vermisst. Wir würden das Haus jeder Zeit wieder buchen da alles super funktioniert hat und und sehr gut gefallen hat :)

This place far exceeded our expectations and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Antonio was superb at communicating with us throughout our stay. I echo the past travellers' that the pictures do not do this place justice AT ALL. It's a short 8min walk to Benegil beach and the area is so quiet. There is a private rooftop with a hammock to which you can watch the sunset every evening. The view of the sea from the rooftop is the icing on the cake and it was amazing waking up to it every morning. The house is very clean and comfortable. It is also located outside the pool and parking is no problem at all. I cannot recommend this place enough and kudos to Anthony for being a fantastic host - I already want to head back there next summer!

This place is amazing. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s situated between two of the most beautiful beaches in the world, each of them only a five minute walk away. It has a private roof deck with a hammock that overlooks the ocean. The views are breathtaking and the sunrises and sunsets from the roof are spectacular. Antonio was very responsive to our questions and quick to resolve any issues we had. We already want to go back.
Antonio is just an amazing host. He is very friendly, polite, trustworthy and speaks English and German fluently. We arrived at 2 am in the morning and he prepared everything for us so that we could enter the house on our own and go straight to bed. We met the next morning and he told us everything what we should know to have a nice holiday. The house itself was also amazing. it has a nice roof (with a very nice view), 3 bathrooms and is literally 5 steps away from the pool, 20 steps away from the beauty of the cliff coast (not as dangerous as it sounds) and 10 minutes away (by walking) from the nearest Beaches (Benagil Beach and Carvalho Beach). We arrived by a rented car, so there was no problem for us to drive 10 - 15 minutes to the supermarket (we recommend Apolonia in Lagoa because you can drink there a coffee, enjoy the free strong wifi, buy some postcards and the quality of the food is just better). But it is no problem if you don't have a car because Uber is also available :D ! Internet from Antonio's router was okay for chatting, emails and sometimes for videos but the signal on the coast isn't very strong. We tried to access the Internet with our phones and we found out that it depends a little bit on which network you are registered and through which APN (Access Point) you are connected to the Internet. For example i was connected through (Website hidden by Airbnb) which wasn't good at all. But my brother was connected through another APN and his internet was working well enough for surfing. All in all it was a very nice holiday and we think about to return :) Thank you very much Antonio :)!
Das Haus befindet sich in perfekter Lage mit direkten Blick aufs Meer. Zwei Strände sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, ebenso wie einige Restaurants. Antonio ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, er war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und hat uns mit tollen Tipps weitergeholfen. Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall wieder wählen.

What a wonderful home, comfortable, spacious, very clean, the views are spectacular, and best location ever... walking distant to the beach. Antonio was such a great host, made sure to provide information about the area, places to eat, the ways to the beach and everything around. As it is described on the website even more.... If you book this home, and plan to have home made meals in the cozy kitchen, my only suggestion is to stop at the supermarket first and purchase some groceries prior to getting to the home, as there is no place to purchase near by; however, there are some nice restaurants close by. Other than that had a great experience. Home away from home!!

Antonio's is in a perfect location above Benagil and Carvalho beaches - both easy walking distance. The shared pool is right by the apartment and everything is beautifully clean and tidy. It is very quiet residential area but within walking distance of several restaurants. We didn't have a car - Antonio sorted out airport transfers and we Uber'd everywhere without any problems at all - Antonio was very welcoming and was very quick to answer any queries. The apartment is really spacious with 3 bathrooms, roof terrace, small garden with BBQ it is an ideal place for a family holiday. Boat trips, Sup and kayak hire all from the Benagil beach - we had a wonderful week and thoroughly recommend it.
